Students in the Kids Program have one job, and that is to HAVE FUN! While it is true there is a lot to cover and learn, Charles Gracie Fremont aims to provide a safe and friendly environment for all of our students. The most important part of our coaches’ job is to ensure that our students are having fun and enjoying their class while learning crucial self defense techniques and skills.

PRIVATE LESSONS

New to Jiu-Jitsu?

Prefer to work one on one? Here at Charles Gracie Fremont we also offer private lessons for those who want to work towards a specific goal in a more intimate setting. Private lessons are recommended for those who want to get settled before joining a group class, or for those looking to refine and develop particular skills. Private lessons are highly encouraged for those who want to train but can’t find the time to make group classes, or their time is limited, as private lessons tend to be more flexible. Additionally, private lessons are encouraged for many reasons, below are a few reasons why private lessons may work in a student’s favor:

  • time limitation/constraint
  • returning student
  • student looking to compete
  • student wanting to work on a certain skill/technique
  • new student
  • student who wants to train more
  • student who prefers 1 on 1 instruction

As you can see there are many reasons why a student may chose to take private lessons. While it is encouraged that group lessons should be a priority, private lessons may be just want a student needs to have that extra edge or works best for their schedule.
